Dr. Kevin Bardwell, CEO and founder of bwellhealth, is a Chiropractic Physician and Sport Scientist who specializes in analyzing dynamic movement patterns of athletes and patients. He studied Exercise Physiology at S.U.N.Y. Brockport and holds a degree in Health Science from the University of Southern Maine. Dr. Bardwell received his Doctorate from Life University in Atlanta and his Masters of Sport Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University in St. Louis.
Dr. Bardwell has had additional post-graduate training in treating musculoskeletal disorders of the extremities (C.C.E.P.). He is Chiropractic National Board certified in parts I, II, III, IV, Physiological Therapeutics and Acupuncture. Dr. Bardwell is also certified by the State of Maine Board of Chiropractic Licensure (CR1221) and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture as well as the Acupuncture Society of America. Dr. Bardwell has studied Reiki and has been attuned to the level of Master/Teacher.
Since early 2012, Dr. Bardwell has been the lead technician for an ongoing concussion study between the University of Maine and Logan University College of Chiropractic. In 2014 Dr. Bardwell and his colleagues were presented with the John N. Nash award for best multidisciplinary abstract at the 2014 Chiropractic Sports Symposium.
Dr. Bardwell lives in Falmouth, Maine with his family and maintains a full time practice in Falmouth.
